Operation.
« on: January 03, 2019, 08:21:19 PM »
Hi Humbug has been limping on and off for a couple of months. We’ve tried rest had X-rays on hips/legs. Rest made it slightly better.
Last week he’s just been off colour. Lethargic. A little bit moany. But has been eating/drinking.
Emergency vets Sunday night but nothing stood out. Tonight at check up noticed anal glands badly impacted. Took him in immediately to sedate and empty them.
Then I got a phone call for a biopsy.
Then I got a phone call that they’re concerned it’s a carcinoma. They’ve asked to x Ray his spine (?) as carcinoma can them go there. I think. I stopped listening/taking it in.
Biopsy results not back until Monday.
It’s going to be a very very very long weekend. 😬😬😬😬💜

Thanks all. He’s mostly just sleeping on my lap or next to me. I’m not moving from the cuddles we are having.

Results not back from biopsy and not expected until Wednesday.
X Ray wasn’t clear but she felt it showed something pushing the colon down.
We went back to vets yesterday as he’s cut his tail with his cone trying to lick the wounds  ph34r so just a waiting game. He’s just sleeping. I have to make him go out to the garden for a wee. He’s barely drinking - but has learnt to drink from a syringe (brave intelligent boy).

Watching phone for a call from a vets. Feeling rather sick. Haven’t managed to go to work as can’t leave him.  :luv:
