Indie's paws sometimes smell a bit, you know the way their ears can smell, sort of yeasty? He doesn't bite or chew them, and seems to have no discomfort at all, is this normal?

It could be the start of various 'athletes' foot' fungi. Because cockers have so much hair on their paws and sweat on the feet can't get aired, they can get many problems.

Keep the hair short and wash it regularly with hibiscrub.  If it appears to be a fungal infection, washing in half water/half white vinegar will really help.
