Spoke to the vet at 4pm.  He said that they have had Millie walking in the yard and she's a little more alert, her temperature is still high but has come down a little, she has received 1/2 of the medicine she needs.  They are keeping her in over night, so I have to phone at 9am to see if she is any better, he said they may keep her in until tomorrow evening depending on how much she improves. Thankyou again for all your kind words.

I will post an update tomorrow when I know more.

I am so sorry Millie is poorly, bucket loads of positive thoughts being sent to her from here.

I know how you feel about leaving her at the Vets.  I felt just the same when I had to leave my last cocker there when she was 14.  But she is in the best place and it sounds like there has been improvement so it is best thing you can do for her.

Hopefully she will be back home tomorrow evening.  Thinking of you.  I know how hard it is for you.
