Penny is going to be spayed tomorrow. She'll be fasted from tonight and I take her to the Vets for midday tomorrow. Her seasons have been erratic of late to say the least. She looks well and all seems well with her and but for having a male dog living here I don't think any of these signs would be too obvious but its got to the point were Logan is practically after her all the time. I went to the vets 2 weeks ago explaining the situation, but its not the first time I've sort treatment for it as we've had injections in the past. He asked me when I thought her last season was and I thought it happened about six weeks previously so he suggested I wait another fortnight and bring her in. Well a week after the vet visit one day Logan doesn't notice, next he's gagging to get at her and she's flirting away with him. Its still no better as I type so I'm not actually sure if they'll go ahead and do it tomorrow or not, but saying that there doesn't seem to be a good time atm.
The vet thinks we are probably dealing with polycystic ovaries or a tumour (which I'm seriously hoping its not) so could you spare a thought for Penny, hope that she is able to have the op tomorrow and that the results will be ok (bit of a tall order I know) but we'd both really appreciate it.
