My cocker has developed a dry cough, especially first thing in morning. He is 12yrs old but still very active.Any information would be helpful.Just been over last 3 days.Heading to the vet on Tuesday.

Could be as simple as kennel cough. But it's good that you have a vet appointment, best to be on the safe side when they are older :)

Could be kennel cough, but his age may indicate a heart murmur. My two who developed murmurs were worst first thing in morning. Not to panic, though as there are meds that help with fluid build up if it’s heart related. Good luck at appointment on Tuesday and try not to worry too much x
