Title: Shooting and weather?
Post by: hanandhen on November 08, 2010, 06:31:05 PM
If it's blowing a howling gale, how likely is it that a shoot will go ahead? I can't imagine anyone being able to hit much in this weather we're having!

I would have thought that it would still go ahead, the birds make a more sporting target in a good wind

Unless it reaches hurricane force it'll more than likely go ahead in my experience :005:

:005: :005: :005: you got that right eh Nicola!!!!  I don't anything has stopped Rod (OH) from going except from not being about to drive in snow unless someone picked him up in a landrover type vehicle.....then he'll walk and pick up his gun and clear off the local farmers fields instead :P

Rod's best day out last season was also when there was a foot of snow on the ground.....Finn had to have his feet and doo dars freed of snow balls every so often and lots of cuddles and coats to keep him warm but it's a day Rod will always remember...............nutters ::)
