Buttys 1st Season!!!!

Well all this talk of Mikki pants etc must have got Butty in the mood as her season has finally started  
Funnily enough i took her to ringcraft last night and non of the boys seemed interested in her at all  
Anyway I noticed as she was lying in her bed legs akimbo (as you do when your a cocker  ) that her private benjamins looked alot bigger than normal   so I did the tissue test to confirm it  . So she will be confined to the house and garden for the next 3 weeks
This probably means that what coat she has....will probably all drop out

 That came all of a sudden  Well Gilly, what with no walks for 3 weeks and her starting on the chicken wings, she may hit her 23lbs by the end of her season

Well i left Adrian a note last night to tell him as he had gone to bed...and he left me a note this morning.......
"What!!??!! but she's just a baba, she's not a woman!!?!! Break out the Mikki pants!!!
P.S. Is she still a baba then!!??!!"
Now if she's not a Daddys little girl I don't know what is

Was there any change in her behaviour just beforehand that you noticed? There never is with Daisy - which is why we have to be extra careful with her - whereas Jazz gets sooooo moody a couple of weeks before

No Mike...absolutely no change in temperament at all, she's still as soft as ever, although i did mention to Mary yesterday that she's obsessed with me as I can't move for her constantly wanting petted and kissed and cuddled but then I think thats normal for cockers and pretty normal for Butty

Chance would be a fine thing Gilly.....she is not happy about anyone peering down there  She has so much feathering around there too that even if she's lying asleep legs akimobo I can't see anything :-

Aww its kinda sad and happy all in one isnt it??  I mean as you said its like your babys grown up  but, part of you doesn't want her to grow up  If you get what I mean  But anyhow give her lotsa hugs n cuddles from me and Indie

Just a thought do you think thats why she may have found the chicken a bit more enticing?? You know gave her the munchies  Or it might have been why she didnt like the chicken first time round.

What will you do now Gilly?  Are you letting Butty have a litter later on? Or are you going to get her speyed?  Its a hard decision

Millie was very much more clingy during her season, and kind of distant just before, not moody, just distant.  She also seemed to stop eating.
