I ordered a No. 76 and a Coat King 2 weeks ago and have not received either. It doesn't usually take more than a week to get parcels to Australia! I assume its because they are waiting for the combs, but will follow them up if I haven't got it within a week.

These combs must be very good.

Right, which one of you lot has stole my comb :o ;) Trust me to lose mine now just when a) Dallas's coat is starting to give and B) they are all sold out :'(

Yep, I'm still waiting too - however by the amount of fluff on Rigsby I'd be lucky to get it through his coat at the moment!

Sorry for being a daft Norwegian ;D, but spratts 76 what does it looks like? Over here the Spratts 73 has always been known as the Spaniel comb, so now I wonder what I have missed out, by not having a no 76.

I have a 73 aswell - hehe I have a "toolbox" instead of a grooming kit lol  ;D - I think the only differnce is that the 73 has a handle whereas the 76 doesn't - look at the pictures and you'll see what i mean  ;D I'm not the best at explaining things  ;D

Yes the 73 & 76 are the same comb, it's just one has a handle & the other doesn't. I find it easier to work with the 76 myself but others prefer a comb with a handle - whatever works best for you ;)

ooops! just checked my grooming kit .. its a 71 I have, not a 73, same style comb but wider teeth  :-[  ;)

well i wondered what you lot were on a bit, because a woman at our club said she used a no 7, she must have said 76 clean my ears out next time ::)and at that time i thought whats that then?
so i went to dog club last night and i borrowed one from someone with a cocker so i can take all that excess hair out that is sticking up, did a bit last night and it looks much better all ready, i will have a nice sleek looking Buffy instead of a hairy mutt ;D

The funny thing is, we went to the Diamond Edge stall at Windsor, and they had a spratts comb out on display. I guess that doesnt mean they necessarily had any in stock though  :(

There were many other stalls though that had dog grooming equipment - if you can go to a show, it's well worth it just for what you can buy there  :)

For everyone waiting for a Spratts 76, Diamond Edge have informed me that there has been a problem with the machine that makes the combs, then a problem at the platers.  They hope to have the combs within a couple of weeks.

HOOORAY!!!

to all those of you eagerly awaiting the arrival of your spratts number 76 combs - I had a phone call today from Diamond Edge and they're back in stock!!   ;D  ;D now ... where'd my dog go ... oh Millie ... millie come  ;)  ;D
