Title: Hello from Nicole and Lomani
Post by: Lomanis_mum on May 05, 2008, 01:21:48 PM
Hi everyone,

I am relatively new to the world of cockers and know that life will never be the same again! Lomani is our first dog/cocker and she turns 1 on the 16th of June. It's hard to believe that in such a short time, she has become such an important part of our family (and to wrap us firmly around her cute little paw!). She is definitely a delight to be around and is growing into a lovely young lady. We have done obedience training since she was just 3 months old, and we all enjoy it so much. We start agility next month which I am sure will offer a whole new world of fun for us too.

Here is our princess.

Hi Nicole
Welcome to COL and the picture is lovely. She's a lovely colour - is she classed as Golden?

Sorry, just looked at the videos - she looks like she was enjoying herself - great.
Where did you get the tunnel from - that looked a fantastic adventure.

Hi Nicole & Lomani and welcome, we "know" each other from another cocker forum and Nicole has helped me a lot with different questions I had  with Pippa. Thanks Nicole! ;)
Lomani is a lovely girl, shame you joined too late for the photo comp but you can still post lots of pics of her!!!
Cocker hugs

Thank you all for a very warm welcome and for all of your lovely compliments about our little girl. I would love to enter her photos in the comp, but as Barb pointed out I have joined too late. Maybe next time around!

To answer your questions, she has both gold and red in her pedigree but I'm pretty sure she is registered as gold. She looks a little redder in that photo as it was taken in the setting sun.

Her tunnel was a hand-me-down from a friend, it was actually designed for cats but worked perfectly for a cocker pup. She doesn't fit in it anymore though.  :005:

Lomani is a fijian word meaning love. It is actually the name of the resort we stayed in for our honeymoon there and had such lovely memories associated with it that we felt it was appropriate for our special girl.

Thank you again for making us feel so welcome. It's great to have so many friendly faces around!
