Yesterday was 8 out of 10

We arrived home after yesterdays training and Sue as always asked how it had gone, I told her I scored Teal 8 out of 10 it was about the best training session we had ever had.
Today I was a bit apprehensive as no way could Teal behave so well 2 days in a row but shock of shocks today she was perfect 10 out of 10.

She never failed on the stop whistle out to 50 yards she stayed within 15 yards whilst hunting and did not run in on any retrieves even though I threw one 2 foot above her head.

I think I will stop now before it all goes pear shaped

Toby is my first go at gundog work and i'd happily settle for a 4 out of 10 at the moment its not easy.

Yes its hard work and at times sooo frustrating but when you get the good days its is so worth while.

I would have settled for 4 out of 10 lots of times with this one so hang in there with Toby, I have trained Labs and ESS before and none have been any where near as testing as Teal

Well day three and Teal was once again a 10 today, I was throwing a flappy dummy along with a popper today and her sit to shot was fantastic.

Has my little angel finally started to mature I really hope so.
