Mine is Gillbrook and I've had it about 5 years now. Luckily it was my first choice and is a tribute to my first cocker Brook who I lost 3 years ago. I got it as I had hoped to get into showing and breeding but until I stop buying in duds, it aint going to happen  ;) :lol: :lol:

we dont have one but stellas breeders is samsalin, if we were to ever get one could we change the registered name of stella?

Only by adding your affix to the end of her name ie. Samsalin Stella of youraffix

Mine is Bonbella,this was the last name on my list,all other names rejected - some to much like established kennel names  >:(
Bonbella was  chosen by my grandaughter.
Named of course after Bella  :luv:

we didn't even think to combine our names to make a Kennel name, it's so interesting to see how everyone constructed theirs  :D Apparently there's over 70,000 registered kennel names  :o  so creativity is the name of the game methinks!  :D

Any more kennel name holders out there? I love all the one's so far, very ingenious  :blink:

Ours is Powerscourt.  My sister chose the name for me and it comes from that fact that we grew up in Co. Wicklow, Ireland next to Powerscourt House (& waterfall).  I've had the Affix for 10 years now.

I have 2
Lorne (granted 1986) for the working cockers (with exception of one litter where I put the 'wrong' affix on) -
Kaystra for the show dogs from mid 90's I think.

Stebeyaron, we intended to breed, and like evyrone else, wanted them to be easily traceable. We probably will never breed now, but just in case, we are keeping it. Its made up from the name of my 1st cocker, Dusty  (Starry Ebony Eyes).

Has anyone on COL been successful at breeding show or trialling champions that carry their affix?
 If not champions, then what is the top award that a dog from your affix has achieved?
