Climbing up and down stairs
« on: December 22, 2003, 02:51:53 PM »
Hello there
Barney is 4 months old and has recently taken to shooting up the stairs when i have opened the baby gate...... he also comes to work with me and shoots up and down the stairs here (not many).

My question is:
(a) is this too damaging for his bones/development :?
(B) should i therefore stop him and carry both up and down... :?:

he is my little shadow at work and merrily follows me everywhere...  :P

thanks for any advice.

I wouldn't stop him altogether - just try to control his speed a little especially on the way down :D and reduce the amount he can go up and down stairs if it is more than a couple of times a day :D

Growing old is compulsory growing up is optional
