Nic - so sorry to hear that Alfie is suffering  :'( and you too by the sounds of it

Hope the vet is right and the op will cure him and he won't be getting this again

Alifie - Fern sends you loads of cocker  :-* :-* Braan says 'good luck mate, but you ain't getting kisses off me'  and as for jock well he says ' Kill the owner, you ain't getting me in a vets, good luck alfie boy will be feeling for ya'

Keep us up to date on how it goes on friday - Oh and don't forget you have to keep him quiet for a few days after, so best of luck and let me know how that goes as I'm gonna be a 'orrible mum in the not too far future and get Braan done - ssssssshhhh don't tell him tho  ;)

barkers is sending manly sympathy in alfie's direction- he is wincing at the very thought of going through what poor alfie has been going through.  ph34r

nic, i hope the op goes well and that it sorts this out. i ended up having barkley neutered sooner than i wanted to (he was 13 months old) but it really has seemed to be fine. you feel guilty for a while but once they're back on their feet and bouncing about as happily as ever, it gets better. :)

<big hugs> to you both. x

Poor Alfie, he's suffered with it this year.  I will keep everything crossed that it does the trick for him once and for all.

Hey Alfie, my three are in the "ball-less" gang, I'm sure they'll be pleased to have you join!  :005:

So sorry to hear it has all gone a bit pear shaped again.  Fingers crossed that the op will make a big improvement.  Give him a big hug from me but mind his bits!

Thanks guys, he went into the vets like a little lamb to the slaughter this morning tail wagging the whole time  ph34r  He was his usual overenthusiastic self, trying to jump over the reception desk and up on his back legs like a meerkat trying to get to everyone  :005:  He did start to bark and whine when I left him in the consulting room with the vet and the nurse and the door closed behind me though so I hope they pre-medded him pretty sharpish or he'll be driving them absolutely mental. I'm have to ring them at 3 to see how he's got on and then I'm leaving work early to go and pick him up.
