Hi Elisa,
Poor Bailey - he is better off without those lumps by the sound of it as any delay in operating might have made the op more tricky.  I'm sure he is getting lots of fuss and I hope he will soon be on the mend!

Hi Eliza

Have just come in on this subject, so pleased to hear that Bailey is on the mend. :D
The diagnosis the vet gave reminded me of something my friend told me recently.  She has a 18 mth old English Springer that she shows which 6 mths ago developed a couple of small lumps between her shoulder blades.  She didn't think anything of them, but suddenly they started growing to such an extent that it interfered with her top line.  After visit to vet was decided to remove and send for histo, the result came back with the most indept discription we had ever heard...

                        'Giant Hair Folicial Disease'

or otherwise the same as Bailey.  So there you go he is now a member of this small and thankfully undangerous group.  But that least its got a great name to say in conversation :)

Hi Elisa

Good to hear you got things sorted. :D

Poor Bailey though having to suffer the dreaded lampshade. :(  Having to endure an operation then the indignity of one of them put on his head. Dogs must think we are so mean sometimes.
