Found this site last week, just in time! We've been looking to add to our family for the last year or so, didn't want a puppy, and so Tiffany the cocker came to stay on Sunday, she's 4/5 years old and so far is an absolute sweetie
Before Sunday I didn't really know what to expect when adopting an adult dog so have been reading up on how to overcome any problems. I wanted a cocker as I'd had two when I was a kiddie and think they're just adorable. She's come to live with me, dd (13) and our 8yr old dog. Still some settling in to do but they go woowooing off up the garden together and sit together for treats etc.
I've got a few questions so will try to post in the right places.
