sorry not said hello before
« on: July 27, 2009, 08:05:08 PM »
Hi although I've managed to reply to a couple of topics have only just worked out out how to start a new topic!!
I have 2 wonderful cockers called Poppy, who is nearly 13, and Rosie ,who is nearly 6. I also had Holly until 3 weeks ago when we had to say goodbye to her after she suffered from pancreatitis, she was 11.They are the 3 in my avatar. Poppy is the golden Rosie the black and white and Holly the blue roan. I have had at least 1 cocker in my life since I was 10 years old so between my mum and me we have had 12 and are the only breed I know and call me biased but I can't imagine me ever having any. You'd think I'd have learnt by now!

Providing I am able to post this I will endeavour to post some more pictures.

Hi and welcome to COL! :D

I am so sorry to hear about Holly, what a terrible thing to go through. I lost my boy Gari a few weeks ago too, to a pancreatic tumour, he was the same age. I'm glad you have Poppy and Rosie to keep you busy. :luv:

I'm Fiona, I'm in Glasgow with puppy Duggie, a solid black show type, he is 10 and a half weeks old. I hope you enjoy it on here, and I look forward to seeing the pics of your girls. :D

Hello so sad to hear about your poor Holly you must be devastated,
Lucky you though having a cocker in your life since you were 10, I only discovered this fab breed 2 years ago as we had always had German Shepherds before. I would never have another breed now.
I am Sharon and I live in the Staffordshire Moorlands with Bluebell (Bella) a 2 year old black show type cocker and Jasmine a 16 month old blue roan show type cocker.
I look forward to some pics.

So sorry you've recently lost Holly  :'( we seem to be hearing quite a lot about pancreatitis lately.

Like you, cockers are the only dogs I've ever lived with and couldn't imagine a different breed in my life.

I'm "Mum" to Morgan who's 13 months old, an orange roan show type. One day, when memories of his frenetic puppy days have faded  :shades: we hope to get him a little brother. Welcome to the most fantastic forum!
