hello from crazy cocker girl
« on: September 18, 2009, 08:09:58 PM »
Hi Guys,

Quick Hi from Gemma with Daisy and Sam living just outside Edinburgh.  Daisy is my 5 year old working cocker and Sam is my 4 year old rescue cocker cross.  Nicola McClure put me onto COL and now I am sure I will never be off.  Look forward to getting to know all you other doggie daft people and will pop up some photos of the pups once I can work out how to use the Forum.

Gems (and Daisy and Sam of course) :D

Thanks for such lovely welcomes.  Nicola did warn me that you can get hooked having so many other folks on the same wave length.

Sam is a wee boy.  I will maybe need to ask Nic for some help mext time I see her as I am being daft and can't even work out how to put up my wee avatar of Daisy and Sam but promise pics will follow soon.

"Happydog" - so sorry to hear about the loss of your beloved Fern but I truly hope that giving a loving home to Bella has been a rewarding experience!

So nice to hear that there are so many other rescues too - I love both my dogs equally but I always feel pleased to have been able to have given Sam a new start!

Jenny I stay in West Lothian too.  I stay in Livingston.  Nicola did mention about the meet ups and I would really love to come along to one and get a chance to say Hi to dogs and their mums/dads.

Well then you are really quite near me indeed ;). I'll send you a message :D. The meets are great fun, someone has just posted a thread on the meet-up board for this area at the end of October xx

Again thanks for the lovely welcomes and in response to the requests I have now popped up a couple of pictures (although one is a bit squint and don't know how to fix) of my babies for you to put faces to names.

I have added them to the Rogues Gallery Page as Forum rules have asked for photos to be put there?!

Hiya Gemma, I should have looked here first, I saw your other posts before this one :005:  Great to see you here and I wasn't kidding when I said it's addictive!! We'll definitely get a walk arranged soon. No need to introduce my lot to you, I think you know who they are already seeing as you've been keeping them in food, treats, Air Kongs and fancy beds for the last 6 months or so :lol2:
