Taking Action Shots Indoors?
« on: March 22, 2010, 11:53:02 AM »
Is it possible?! Mine are hopeless and I need to get some decent shots for work. The warehouse where I take the pics is quite dark so have hired in a superbright light to illuminate the area but they still look quite dingy and some blurry.

Are you using a tripod? (it doesn't give as much freedom for movement, but might help with some of the blur) I'd deffo invest in some nice bright lighting  :D

Right, had a re-think and the images came out much clearer and brighter yesterday evening:

I have a tripod here but I've not tried it with the pool - will give it a go.

I've not used my little studio lights as I don't think they'd be powerful enough. I've been using a flood light which I find works best.

Looking pretty good to me, maybe a filter to give the water a hint of blue and as a result it may stop the white looking as `white`,, not blown, just very white.
