So glad to hear you are adopting Chloe, think we all fell in love with her when we saw her as Melissa.

Cooper looks like he'll know how to look after Chloe too  :luv:

We have a black and tan girl Tia who is 14 months and are taking on a chocolate boy Jake in 11 sleeps time  :banana: (he's from the same parents)

Bet you can't wait to collect Chloe and bring her home  :luv:

How wonderful that 'Chloe' will stay with us all on the forum & we will be lucky enough to see her progress in her new forever home  :luv:
I would love to say lucky Chloe to have found you for her mum but think, in not too long, you will say it was you who was the lucky one, to of found such a very special girl  :luv: :luv:
I think Cooper will be the perfect brother for your new baby & wish you all, much love & many happy times for the future  :bigarmhug:
I'm owned & trained by Purdey 71/2 Livie & Tinker both nearly 5  ......Tinker is my extra special girl & is also blind  :luv:
(I also know a working cocker bitch who had a front leg amputated due to a RTA & still runs like the wind & is quicker to a ball than her Manchester terrier brother  :005: )

How dose Tinker cope with being blind? are there any tips you could give me?
I groom a cocker that has had his front leg amputated and he's the same he runns around at 100mph lol

I was thinking of you and Chloe this morning and though wow only 2 days to go til she comes home to you cooper and your OH
Im so excited for you and im soooo excited at seeing photos of her settling in
What a gorgeous lucky little cocker she is  :luv:

There are many owners on the forum with blind cockers that will be able to give you lots of tips and advice - I had medical issues with diesel the first month i had him and found this site to be my backbone ... It has been a dog send for me and diesel and i have met some wonderful people  :005:

We are all very friendly (and nosy hehe) and no questions are seen as silly question as most of us have experienced any issues so batter right in with question and photo overloads  :005:  :luv:

Will be looking out for your posts Nicola -  :luv:

OOh How exciting little Chloe will be staying on the forum!!  Your daxi is gorgeous  :luv: like a mini version of my black and tan long coated german shepherd! looking forward to seeing how little Chloe progresses,  I think the best advice for having a blind dog is treat them like any other dog,  don't see it as a disability.  I know some people with blind dogs (or parcially sited) use coats with 'Im blind' printed on them so people are aware they are blind so they don't startle them by touching them.

All the best for friday, Im sure your very excited!!
