Bridge Camera's

Starting to look for a new camera as it's my birthday soon.  My current camera is approx 5yrs old a Fuji Finepix z5 has been great as a handbag camera, but as the camera on my phone takes really good shots, there's no point getting a similar sized camera. I don't wont to have to change lens, so I've have started to look at bridge cameras.  Any recommendations ?

I used to have the Panasonic FZ38 which took really nice photos.
It has been 'stolen' by my youngest daughter for her silversmithing creations at uni.    
The FZ38 has now been discontinued but you can still get a good used one off eBay for under £150.
The FZ48 is the new model.

Although bridge cameras are smaller and lighter than DSLRs, they are still a bit bulky.
