Bridge Camera's
« on: February 02, 2012, 02:07:51 PM »
Starting to look for a new camera as it's my birthday soon.  My current camera is approx 5yrs old a Fuji Finepix z5 has been great as a handbag camera, but as the camera on my phone takes really good shots, there's no point getting a similar sized camera. I don't wont to have to change lens, so I've have started to look at bridge cameras.  Any recommendations ?

I used to have the Panasonic FZ38 which took really nice photos.
It has been 'stolen' by my youngest daughter for her silversmithing creations at uni.  >:(  :005:
The FZ38 has now been discontinued but you can still get a good used one off eBay for under £150.
The FZ48 is the new model.  ;)

Although bridge cameras are smaller and lighter than DSLRs, they are still a bit bulky.  ;)
