Hi pearly, yes definitely makes it easier that the right decision was made for her. She also has to stay another night in the vets for monitoring & IV fluids, then it's home with the cone of shame on! haha! Just hope the pup doesn't nibble her stitches  :-\ very close supervision I reckon.

Even tho it was an emergency procedure the Vet used dissolving internal stitches for Pearl - also the wound was about 2" long - I'm still not sure if I was more shocked that she needed the op, the small size of wound as I was expecting it to be huge or that she literally bounced on her back legs to greet me the day after! And no cone of shame!  Hope it's the same for Luna  :D

Pearl would have been 15 months old when she had the pyo!

A very large glass of wine for you tonight  ;)

Woohooooo! My baby's home!!! 👍 😁 very pleased to see me & is now chilling snuggled up to me in the sofa, 💖 I have a photo of her womb that they removed & its safe to say she is a VERY lucky girl, it was starting to haemorrhage & was covered in blood clots, yuk!
