fuiciderm
« on: January 24, 2014, 02:25:47 PM »
hi all had to take maisie back to the vets today.  she keeps itching her mouth/lips and is making it sore, there is no smell she just scratches there.  vet gave me fuciderm to try, I just wondered is this safe to put on the area on and under her lips.  surely some will go in her mouth, im just worried don't want her to get sick. cheers.

The vet wouldn't have given it to you if it wasn't safe. I'm putting Fuciderm from the vet on Alfie's paw to treat a cyst and he's licking it 24/7 and is fine. We've also used it longterm for on going pollen allergies on his tummy which he also licks, apart from when he's on walks.

We've used Fuciderm for lip-fold dermatitis a number of times. It worked well with no discernible side-effects!

Same here we've used it on Blue for lip-fold dermatitis no problems at all.
