Well the Vet said George had been a model patient
he said that all his blood work came out ok, kidneys, liver function etc. when i went to pick him up, he was looking very sorry for himself, but managed to be wagging his tail, typical cocker
he had his tongue hanging out of one side of his mouth, Russell, the Vet said that George was as high as a kite and very happy. He said that the op went well. This morning George seems absolutely fine, he is languishing on the settee, he has been on his back, showing me his war wound and wagging his tail, at the same time, chatting like clockers do
does not appear to be in any discomfort I bought him a comfy collar, as I know that George did not move the last time he had one of those Elizabethan collars from the vets, so far it has not been needed, as he is not interested in his back end at all. I will keep any eye on him and use the collar if necessary. So lead walks for the next few days, he has to go back tomorrow for a pre op checkup.
The shock for me, was the price £350
still he is worth it and hopefully, we can get something back on insurance, according to Russell the vet.
George and I are very grateful for all your positive thoughts
