Jessie had op today
« on: August 20, 2003, 12:32:33 PM »
well Jessies op went ahead today, she is well and doing ok, a little bit whimpery but I woul be also...  we are just about to settle in rfont of tv to watch a film, but promised a few people I would report straight in to say shes ok...

we took her in at 9.45am and they gave the pre med straight away to calm her, then she went straight in for op, they called me at 11.00to say all went well however she was round and distressed and howling  ::) so could I come collect her as they feared she might tear her stitches if she didn't calm down...

shes now at my feet looking at me as if to say "mummy I really thought you loved me more than to put me through this"   :'(  but it'll get better  :)

She has had pain killers at vets to last today they said, however when should I start the homeo ones Jane??? I every hour you said, do I start straight away?? even though shes had stuff off them??? I will check back later when hubby gets back so he can sit with her rather than her following me around...

also shes got antibiotics and has to go back in tomorrow to check all is well, then stitches out in 21 days...

thanks all for your lovely words of support, I know she'll be ok I just adore her so much, shes such a treasure that I hated her going through this..

If she's a true cocker Lynsey, she'll milk it for all she's worth  ;D

At least the op is done now and once she has recovered you can breathe a big sigh of relief  :)

Tell me, is she wearing one of those buckets on her head? If so, show us a pic  ;D
