Charlie-Spud's eyes are fine - unpigmented lids do go red when a dog is tired, it's nothing to worry about :) Dogs will let you know if their eyes are bothering them - they will rub their eyes with their paws, they will keep them half-closed if they are really sore & if there's an infection, you'll see a yukky discharge generally.

Lotties eyes are much the same Tina, infact they are often quite red but more so after a walk.  I'm sure it's down to all the effort she puts in trying to pull me home ::)

At least your Charlie Spud's look even  ;) - poor little Jarvis has one eye which looks all very dark and the other very simliar to Charlies left eye - his too goes very red when tired or after walks.

Good to know everyone thinks this is normal though - the redness that is not the odd eye!!  :D
