Not experienced anything like this and hope he recovers, but I have seen these super vet programmes on TV and seen success stories there. They use physio, harnesses and hydrotherapy but recovery does seem to take time and patience.

Thinking of you all.

I am so sorry Hendrix is so poorly, it must have been so frightening for you.

We have all fingers and paws crossed here that he makes a full recovery.  Thinking of you both.

Wow! We areoverwhelmed by all your wonderful and supportive messages. Thank you all so much. Although many people say they haven't experienced this, that really doesn't matter - just knowing that other people empathise is so helpful and comforting. Particular thanks to Robbie34 and your story about Benjie. It is lovely to hear that things can go so well.

We were told today that they cannot be sure if Hendrix is able to feel his feet - apparently although they first thought he could, it has become more dificult to discern today. However, he is starting hydrotherapy tomorrow, and they should be able to monitor for movement more easily that way.

We posted on this forum when we first had Hendy and it was really useful and helpful then, as it is now. What a wonderful and warm community this is! We will post more about Hendy's progress, and thank you all again. xx
