Dry coat and dandruff help needed
« on: April 13, 2009, 10:53:49 PM »
Millie is 14yrs and was spayed when she was 12yrs old.  Her coat is now very dry and dandruffy, in some places it seems a little thin.  I was wondering do you know of anything i could give her to help the condition of her coat.  I have a sensitive shampoo from the vets but as i don't bath her often its not very useful.  I read on a recent thread someone gave yumega, but i am not sure what this is. Any advice is welcome.

You can get yumega from p@H  it's just under a tenner a bottle. It is an oil you add to the food. I've just started giving it to mine. The girls just have half a tsp added to their food. I've only being using it a couple of weeks and I can see a difference in their coats.
It contains high levels of omega 3 from flax seed and omegsa 6 from starflower and linoleic acid + vit E.
