Just a thought - have you contacted the breeder to tell them?  Its possible that it's a bug she'd got before she left the breeder, so they'll need to know in case any of the other pups come down with it.

  Oh no, really really sorry to read that post. As you got Lela at virtually the same time we got Dexter, I have been following Lela's progress keenly. We'd feel exactly the same as you as they become part of your lives instantly. You have done all the right things (we can't stop Dexter from chewing on twigs or "hunting" leaves so you have done well to keep little Lela away from those things)and from the sounds of what everyone else is saying, what she's suffering from isn't that uncommon in puppies so I hope that will be of some comfort to you until she's home safe and sound.

Thanks so much for your messages.  It is a comfort to know that others have had similar experiences with a positive outcome. I'm so glad I found this forum, everyone is so helpful and kind.

We have left the breeder a message to let her know what has happened. Hopefully its just a bug and she will bounce back.  But it is such a worry.  I have been reading about Parvo virus symptoms and worrying myself sick.

We have been to my parents' this afternoon and it was so strange coming home to her empty crate.  My youngest daughter looked everywhere for her..
