I'm so sorry to hear little Lela isn't well. Massive healing thoughts coming her way.  :bigarmhug: My little black bitch was pretty poorly not long after she came home and had to stay at the vets on a drip, but soon came home and was as good as new in no time. Really hope it's the same for your little one. Sometimes there tums can get a bit upset from all the changes. Really hope she's better very soon. :-*

Our annie had to go to the vets overnight when she was little also...turned out she had a bug type of thing....she recovered well, so big hugs

Poor Lela.  I've just had exactly the same with Meg, she'd picked up a nasty bug from somewhere and is now recovering.

Hope Lela makes a full recovery and is back home soon  :bigarmhug:

Thank you all SO much for your lovely messages.

Lela still has diarrhoea so they are keeping her in hospital.  But, she is much brighter and has chewed through her drip line - little monkey!  The vet thinks she may have a bacterial infection, but we won't be sure until test results come back later in the week. I can go and see her later and bring her home if her poo is back to normal. But I have a feeling she will be there another night.  :'(

I'm told the vet nurses have fallen in love with her, so hopefully she is getting lots of cuddles.  We really really miss her.  First thing my daughter said this morning when she woke up was 'dog'.

I have a (very rare!) day on my own today. Was really looking forward to some one on one time with my delightful little pup.  Nevermind, chores instead!

Thanks again to everyone for your support and advice.  Pets and children - what a worry they are!  Will keep you updated.
