Shaking/body trembling
« on: August 06, 2010, 04:36:18 PM »
Hi, wondered if anyone had any experience of a cocker shaking/trembling.   Indie has been doing this for a week now and at first I thought it would go but its getting more frequent, its almost as though shes cold but obviously cannot be at this time of year.

I've rang the vets for an appointment and seeing them on Monday - anyone know what could be causing this and is it anything to worry about  :-\.

Trembling all over but then it stops and then starts again so its not constant.   She doesn't appear to be in any pain anywhere on her body which is why I thought the shakes would just go - getting a bit concerned that they're getting more frequent now hence phoning the vets - I did say what was wrong with her to the receptionist and the appointment is Monday so obviously didn't think it was urgent :-\

:bigarmhug: Hope all goes well, it is worrying when you cannot put your finger on what is causing her to tremble.

Maybe she is going down with a chill, rather like we shake at the onset of flu

Well we're still none the wiser about why she is shaking.   However her temperature is high, no signs of pain anyway (which I already knew) so she's been given antibiotics for a week incase she has an infection.

If she is still shaking after the week then it will be full blood tests to see what they bring up.    Hopefully the antiobiotics will work as they don't really know at this stage.

Thanks for your wishes, fingers crossed the tremors stop.   :luv:
