Positive thoughts to your Charley from my charlie who is 11y/o.  I know how you feel my charlie had to have tests done in September to diagnose grade 4 heart murmur and I was so worried then.  I hope it all goes well for your Charley as it did for mine.

He should be fine, I know he is slighlty elderly but Cockers are tough cookies, my old lady had a double mammary strip at 11,Pymotera op at 12(ruptured) and a mandiblectomy at 13, she got through all very well....Just be there for him and that alone will give him the will and strength to get through it.......

thoughts are with you an dd hugs, are they doing his teeth under sedation?? could they not do as the same time as castration? we do it the same time at work and if we have one that's tricky due to age we have two vets working at the same time. He should be under for around 20 min x

They won't do both at the same time because of the risk of infection from his teeth, according to the vet.
