Wish it could be bottled
« on: August 26, 2013, 08:04:23 PM »
Milly's just spent a half hour snoozing and then got up and walked over to me for a cuddle. :luv:  I got a lovely scent of warm cocker spaniel which, in my opinion anyway, is better than all the scents and perfumes that can be bought over the counter. :005:

Wouldn't it be great if we could get this scent bottled for those cosy warm moments when you just want to relax with nice doggy aromas about you. :D

Or is it just me entering my second childhood? :shades:

Bob.

My hubby also thinks the dog smells different when he's sleepy!

Talking of smells - has anyone ever noticed that their dogs' feet smell of Dorritos?! Hubby read about this, so we smelled Henry's feet and they actually do smell of corn chips!

Wish I could have bottled the smell of Henry when he was a puppy - that milky, puppy smell.  :luv: :luv: Sigh.

My lot smell of Digestive biscuits - at least their feet do !!!  I have no idea why (they don't get a look in as digestives are my favourite biscuit!!!) so no reason for them to smell like them........

Don't dogs loose heat through their pads? So sniffing their feet is like sniffing under our arms  :005:  :005:
Although they don't sweat so maybe not as bad! Just thinking they might all have different "body odours"  :005:  :005:

Yes Rileys feet smell of cheesy doritos , yum.

I sometimes get a whiff of him if I wake up in the night and he is in the room, I know that Riley is close by, love it.

Ah what a lovely thread Bob.
No it's not just you entering second childhood....it's you right now, reciprocating all the love your gorgeous spaniel has to give.  :luv:

Both of mine smell a lot nicer and less "doggy" since I changed them to a raw diet, but there's no getting away from the fact that Louis smells of pee most of the time >:( whereas William hardly smells at all unless he's had raw lamb, which makes him a bit windy :005:
