KC Registration Query

Hi all!

A query I have regarding KC registration:

I have a 2 year old working cocker bitch - non KC registered. She's shaping up to be a cracking little worker with a lovely temperament.  Subject to her ability and enthusiasm in the forthcoming season, along with acing all health tests, I am considering breeding from her in 2024/2025.

If I were to mate her with a KC registered dog, would there be a possibility for the pups to be KC registered, or does the fact the bitch isn't mean that the puppies cannot be?

This is really just for my understanding.
