Dummies
« on: January 31, 2021, 03:48:13 PM »
Can anyone advise me what weight of dummy to get to start dummy training with please? Humphrey understands the concept and I made a few dummies to start with but they‘re not very strong and are too light to throw anyway. The ones I‘ve looked at are 250g or 500g but I‘m not sure of the advantages/disadvantages of each. Would 500g be too heavy to start?
We‘re still in lockdown here in Germany, I can only order online, so can‘t find much advice...
Any tips would be welcome!
Thanks!  :D

500gm would be too heavy for him.  We have dummies from 85gm through to 500gm but they tend to be smaller, narrower dummies.

Have a look at Muntjac Trading, they have a complete mix for sale and will offer advice - appreciate you are likely to buy in Germany!

There are also Dokken dummies which have the shape of a pheasant or partridge plus rabbit fur dummies - they all add a bit of variety in shape, scent and texture.

Have fun!

I like the rubber waterproof jobs especially this time of year....
