Thanks all.

I have now been back with my dogs for a few days and Storm is being a little  .  I've been putting her back in her cage if she barks, and getting my collie out first (she is always very good and quiet in the car, and always waits to be the last to be let out, as she is the youngest).  Storm does not approve of the collie being let out first, and so has stopped barking when I try to open the boot. (Long may it last!)

We have been trying the not getting them out if they are noisy, and like wilfsaunty suggested speeding up if they bark etc.  It hasnt made any difference.  Once they think the car has slowed (even to go round a corner  >:D ) they start up, and then it is hard to stop them.  However, I will be working on them each individually over my vacation.
