Hi,
Bracken is coming up to 9 months and is showing signs of her first season. Apart from our other dog (a 3 year old spayed female) I daysit my MIL's 10 week old yorkie puppy.
I have read quite a bit about seasons and that some dogs will get attached to toys etc when having a phantom pregnancy afterwards. The question is, is there a risk that she will think that the yorkie is her puppy and act accordingly.
May be completely off tangent here but thought it was worth asking in case the situation arose.
ETA: She has acted quite motherly to her already if that helps...
