Even with the help of a behaviourist this is likely to take months to resolve - as people have pointed out with little one starting to get mobile it is something that you need to think seriously about.

Don't have any regrets.

This is why i've come to the decision that it is in everyone's best interests for Rudy to be re-homed. As much as it is upsetting for me, i'd much rather be sad about him having to live somewhere else, than regret keeping him and one or both of them getting seriously injured.

Even with a door between them they are growling at each other, and they have gone for each other on sight. So i really don't think it will resolve no matter what i do.

Sorry to read that your having abut of trouble Beth.
Re-homing Rudy would be the best thing to do IMO We have been in the same situation as you and it is so stressful & upsetting in the end we re-homed one.

Beth - so sorry things don't seem to be working out - it must be heartbreaking to have put so much work in, and for things to have seemed to be going ok, for everything to fall apart.   
It sounds like you have made your decision, and that this seems to be the best course of action - not only for you and Indie, but all 3 dogs involved.

Let me know if I can help you at all with anything. You're doing the best for ALL of you - which is all you can do. Rudy needs to enjoy his time being a baby and Jarvis needs to feel at ease in his home and you need to be comfortable in your home and enjoy your baby

They are both good with other dogs. Rudy will have a shout at other dogs on-lead, but nothing aggressive really. It's just a massive personality clash between the pair of them.
