Daisy:age 6, JRT, fed on Burns adult chicken and rice: No bahviour problems apart from typical terrier barking.

Sweepie: age 2, working cocker spaniel, fed on Burns adult high energy Lamb, no behaviour problems apaprt from being over attached to me.

Goose: age 2, labrador retriever, fed on Burns adult high energy lamb, no behaviour problems apart from can breenge in with hackles up to greet a new dog, either male or female. Would never attack and after 2 mins of greeting he is all luvvy with waggy tail.

Otter: age 7 months, labrador retriever, fed on Eukanuba puppy/junior large breed, no behaviour problems in the slightest a happy well balanced socialised dog without a care in the world.

Belle: age 5 labrador retriever, fed on burns adult chicken and rice, Belle had severe behaviour issues when I got her. She was being fed when I got her a cheap Gold Line chicken based dog food (£7 a bag stuff). She had several sessions with a behaviourist 4 years ago, we worked to her plan on the way forward with Belle and on top of the list was to change her food which I did straight away. Belle has taken nearly 3 years to overcome to majority of her fears and although she will never be 100% she is certainly a totally different dog to when I 1st got her.

Edited to add: mine all get over and above their kibble, Barf, burns moist food, tripe, pedigree chum better by nature moist, applaws moist food, and numerious other meats and veg  :D

hi Mark
happy to help.
Smudge ( 1 1/2 yr Show Blue Roan Cocker ) has Nature Diet Chicken and Rice for Adult Dogs and also 3 Pedigree "Milky Biscuits"    ( being the only low fat biscuit without additives .)for his breakfast.

Oliver ( 7 yr old English Setter ) has Nutro Chicken and Rice for sensitive stomachs (he has occasional bouts of colitis ) but much less since changing his diet. He also has 5 biscuits in the morning.

Smudge does have some behaviour problems but all are down to me I fear. Pulling on lead, trouble with hearing recalls when rabbits are around and jumping up and mouthing when greeting .

Bella - 3.5 years, fed on BARF, a bit of fear aggression but being sorted out with T Touch.

Zorro - 21 months, fed on BARF, no behavioural issues (or nothing I'd deem serious enough to be a problem - just needs a bit more confidence is all).

Hi Mark,

No probs

Dave 1 yr old show cocker
Food: Burns Adult Chicken and Brown Rice + Fresh veg and occasional raw meat/fish
Behaviour: V laid back, doesn't like being without our other dog and bit of a bandit at times but nothing I would consider an issue

Norms 3 yrs re-homed Weimaraner bitch
Food: Burns Adult Chicken and Brown Rice + Fresh veg and occasional raw meat/fish (she had been on Bakers complete for 2.5 years before coming to me)
Behaviour: Moderate to severe fear aggression on lead mainly towards other dogs but sometimes people which is slowly improving with management and house/car/people guarding which in my mind is at an acceptable positive level. Absolutely no food or toy guarding at all, to the extent that I've seen my cocker stick his head in her bowl whilst she's eating and she'll step back and let him despite being very food orientated. She will also let cocker take toys off her.

George age 12 years 5 months
Linus age 10 years 9 months
Aidee age 20 months

All fed on Skinners Field and Trial hypoallergenic duck and rice. or salmon and rice. I feed that because George has a delicate tummy and all 3 seem to do well on it. They all have cod liver oil and garlic powder. George has glucosamine, if I'm not feeding the salmon and rice. Linus has Vit c for his bladder

They have homemade dog biscuits, charcoal bonios, frozen yogurt kongs, soft cheese, raw veg and chicken wings as treats (not all at once)

Behavioural problems.......George and Linus are soo laid back its not true!!! No seriously they've never had any real problems. They are very protective of the car and bark like mad at passers by  ph34r
Aidee can be shy with humans at first (although that is improving) and will bark at other dogs and can be a bit aggressive for a split second, then he stops and is absolutely fine, so I'm guessing he's defensive rather than aggressive  ph34r. My friend has taken him out and says he's only like it with me around  :-\

think thats everything  :D

Zen Dog...he knows not where he is going, for the ocean will decide. Its not the destination....its the glory of the ride.

Hi Mark happy to help, Rupert is fed on Hills Adult 1-6 with chicken twice a day and once a week he has mackerel or sardines.  He also has gravy bones for treats a denta stix for his teeth and ocean bites for his coat, but he's not very keen on them, unless the lab from next door comes round then he can't get it down quick enough.   :005:  He also has pizzles and chews.  No behavioural problems.

Ollie - 7 months
JWB junior

Behaviour - think this is all normal puppy behaviour, still nips a bit when excited, when meeting a dog on a walk he can run round them barking in circles for ages and will sometimes jump up at them. At my friends dog he also does this and sometimes nips him too.

Jarv - nearly 3 years old

Arden Grange Performance 4 mornings of the week, other 3 BARF
evening BARF including 1 meal of sardines in tom sauce a week.
once a fortnight, poppadum from the indian takeaway - will not touch supermarket ones  ph34r
treats - cooked chicken, sossij, livercake, pigs ear piece (not a whole one as it has 'consequences' ) occasional gravy bone (and a  nightly gravy bone at goodnight time - he does the 'Gravy bone challenge with his dad - OH practices 'sleight of hand' and Jarv has to guess which hand it's in by touching with his nose...OH is gutted as Jarv is nearly 100 percent right now  :lol2: )
and a small amount of icecream whenever he goes to the beach  ph34r

behavioural issues - well, he is over fond of a bloke called Top Barks, and tends to climb all over him covering him with an indecent amount of cocker snogs whenever he sees him....

other than that he's sound physically and behaviourally.  Only training issues he has are correctable if his owner was consistent  ph34r lead pulling for e.g....

My 2 are both 3, fed on Barf.

Herbie, no behaviour probs

Mikey, annoyingly squeals and screams when walking on a lead - but that's down to me being lazy and letting him get away with it  ph34r

Boo Roan- show type, Blue Roan, 1 1/2 yrs.

Food - BARF (I think) - raw meat, tripe, fish, veg, bones but mixed with biscuit mixer.  Fe twice a day

Behaviour - on the whole a lovely little dog.  Pulls on the lead, but this is merely a training issue.  Can be a bit of an attention seeker where me and Dave are concerned (has to be involved if he see's Cosby getting attention).  Only real problem we have with him is with other dogs/people but only when outdoors.  Some of the noises he makes are ridiculous.  Not Aggressive - we are starting to think it is a protective behaviour towards us (see previous point on attention).

Cosby Cocker - show/worker (we think), Red, almost 4 yrs

Food as above

Behaviour - where do we start.  Cosby has always been challenging since we got him, he's very easily excited, hysterical at times, although he has improved immensly since he was a pup (still some way to go through).   - Excessive barker, reacts (by barking, going crazy) to noise, people passing by the window, to get attention etc.  Goes absolutely crazy when people enter the house, gets wound up when going out for a walk.  Is incredibly focused on what he wants, to the point where you can not get his attention away from the negative to something more positive.  I have never known a dog like him.  All of this however, is done without any aggression.  He is a very loving dog - no problems really with other dogs or people.  He is obsessed with food (which does cause problems) but is not food aggressive (normally results in the reactions stated above).  He is excellent with commands, recall etc no problems there.  In a nutshell he is just incredibly hysterical and on edge, combined with a focus and a determination (for what he wants) that I have never seen in a dog before - which means when he is off, it's hard to get his concentration.

That was quite therepeutic!! :005:

all mine are fed on CSJ champ and all neutered

Saffi -5yr old cocker doesn't like to live with other bitches ( i have one other  ::) ) she is not aggressive all the time, it appears to fall in line when she would normally have a season from what i have noticed and can last for a few weeks and then she will be fine until the next one. She is also quite hyperactive and i am looking into herbal remedies to help with both her aggression and hyperness.  Also has a tendency to squeal a lot when excited - sounds like she is being hurt  ph34r - very embarassing on walks !!

Max - 5yr old cocker has issues with having to leave the kitchen  ::) despite having him from 9mths of age ( he spent his time living in the kitchen ) and working to overcome it he still shows aggression when he doesn't want to go out and has to be handled in such a way as for him to think its his idea to leave the kitchen  :005: he will snap if he feels pressured

Harley - 3yr old rottie/collie x loves to play with other dogs but when on lead shows frustration at not being able to and barks and lunges, can get over boisterious when playing so has to watched for signs of it and stop it before it gets out of hand - when other dogs fight he will attack any dog near to him from redirected aggression

Egan - 2yr old x breed ( unknown mix but has kangaroo in there somewhere  ::) ) no issues as such but can be very hyper and likes to bounce of people  ::)

Mia - 20mth Staffy x - only issue is her to be overly submissive when faced with raised voices or over boisterious dogs - oh and she likes to walk off with other people - no loyalty at all  >:(

they sound like a right bunch of looney's don't they  ph34r :005:
