Groomer in Colchester, Essex

Hi,

We have got a gorgeous 6 month old Cocker called Pickle who is an absolute poppet. However, she looks like a big ball of fluff!

I want to get her groomed properly, I have had cockers before but used to have them totally clipped out/skinheaded! We don't want to do that with Pickle, we want her to stay looking like a cocker!

Has anyone got any recommendations for a groomer in my area? I don't mind travelling if they highly recommended.

Tori, who is a member on here, or at least used to be, is a fantastic groomer, but she is based um...ooh... cant remember - but its out towards Brentwood I think. Sorry rather vague isnt it!

If you are interested and dont mind travelling that far, I can get her details for you.

I would not mind her details either, as I am losing my groomer she is expecting a baby.  I live near Brentwood at Billericay.  If you have any details would appreciate a PM if possible.

would be happy to recommend Maxine Williams @  Maxines caring dog grooming. Ardleigh Green Romford. Maxine grooms all of my 5 dogs and my M.T fosters, and has a partiular liking of spaniels. She also has a website.     Shona

I would love to live near Essex so I could go to that excellent groomer!  Just too far from South Leics...

Thank you so much for all of your replies, so some silly reason I expected an email if someone replied!! I didn't get one so didn't think anyone had!!

Romford and Corringham are about an hour from me so maybe a little bit too far.

Jessie, I don't suppose your dogs are Ormesguarde ones are they? seeing as you are in that area?

They are just up the road from us.     There are quite a few Ormsguarde dogs on our local walk. Can tell they are Ormsguarde, a lot of them have the little black socks ;)
