*** I hope this doesn't sound to awful but my last cocker (working) had a real habit of looking at me on the recall l(whistle) and must of had the thought running through his head of "But mum I'm busy" and the nobbing off for anything upto an hour. The only way I learnt to stop it was doing lots of recall stuff at home in the house and huge big fusses and for 3 weeks i fed him only in the morning and only let him off at night when he was so peckish he couldn't wait to get back and see what treats were waiting fo him on the successful reacall. I'm sure that on the basis with humans anything after 14 days of doing it consistently is a habit then it should (or in this case did) work with Badger. Got too admit after a week he was having supper whern he got home around 9pm. BUt it did seem to make an impact and the huge amounts of hugs he got even when missing for ages. Never make them reluctant to come back.
