Odd Behaviour - very restless at night
« on: January 27, 2009, 10:48:29 AM »
Over the last few nights Sweep has been very restless - not settling - and keep wanting to go out into the garden.  (Foxes?) I am sure she didn't need to go the toilet but last night she wee'd on our bed - she has been clean in the house for nearly a year.  its the same duvet as last winter on which she had an accident as a puppy and I wondered if she can still smell it.

When she goes to bed in the kitchen we don't hear a peep out of her till the next morning.

We also wondered if she's not well but seems to be eating and drinking ok or whether she might be a it hormonal (she was speyed last November)

This morning she has had a big poo whcih appeared to be normal and done several wees - sorry to be so blunt!

Anyone got any ideas?

Is she peeing normally ie not having difficulty like straining? I was thinking a possible urine infection but it does sound like something has unerved her perhaps.

Odd Behaviour - UPDATE
« Reply #4 on: January 28, 2009, 09:11:31 AM »
I think that we have found out what the problem was!  Yesterday when we went for our usual walk on the beach poor old Sweep had a couple more enourmous poos and amongst it all was a pop sock!

We didn't see her steal it but she must have had tummy ache the evening before - poor baby!  :luv: :luv:

Anyway last night much more restful - thanks for your suggestions and advice.
