ok, underneath a burst mattress lies a sleek shiny brown dog....but I'm wondering what would be the best supplement to try and assist his coat.
doG knows what he'd be like if he were neutered as this is bad enough! his entire back is covered with a very fine, woolly, soft, dry, gingerish fluff - in parts I can see the dog I used to know ( his shoulders mostly) ph34r
It's also pretty much stuck as in, it's not yielding to comb/rubber band yet - like puppy fluff. It's definitely his winter coat, and his skin seems fine and not scurfy.
So - Salmon Oil, Yumega, Lupoderm.....any others?
which one?

I think we need a pic of said fluffy dog, so that we can advise :luv:
-
I give Torin - salmon oil, Keepers Mix and cider vinegar - and his coat isn't too bad looking.

:lol2: I'm quite good at disguising the mess in pictures - will get the camera out tomorrow and give you the 'real' fluff bucket ;)

I was going to say Keeper's Mix too. Flaxseed oil is great as well. High in Omega 3 oil. Cold pressed can be bought from Holland and Barrett.

Yumega's worked brilliantly for my dogs. Has flaxseed, starflower and Vit E in it.

We give Meg a human type evening primrose oil tablet daily and her coat has really improved. She went through a stage of it being really fluffy and it seems to have got much better

I use kelp tablets / and or fish oils.

Oooh Jenny does this mean you'll be selling this at Crufts as I will definitly be popping by. Got to get Tallys coat looking lovely for next year. ;) I can always get you some if you want Helen and post to you. No problem. Just let me know if you'd like me too. At the mo I use Yumega and keepers mix. His coat is coming back now, but I'm always up for trying something new. :shades:

Apologies for my lack of knowledge, can you tell me what Keeper's Mix is please?
-
Yes Sarah we have some at Crufts and I think the vet who developed it is popping by too. He's flying over on Thursday. It's on the on-line shop too
-
Looks interesting. If you want me to get some for you at Crufts let me know Helen. We could then do a mini meet somewhere in the NF or I could bring it to your Salisbury workshop when I go shopping in Salisbury.
