Henry Has Had More Seizures - Further Update Page 3

I'm pretty upset as Henry has had three epileptic seizures in succession.  These have occurred the past three mornings just after breakfast and about a half hour after taking his meds.  He has been fine since just before Christmas when his dose was upped to 60 mg of Epiphen twelve hourly.

I'll have to make an appointment to see the vet first thing in the morning, and I'm going to ask if he will refer Henry to the Liverpool University Veterinary Centre in the Wirral.

Henry appears to be fine, and the fits have been about sixty seconds duration.  However, I'm worried about any possible long term brain damage.

This sounds very upsetting and difficult I'm defo no expert but if its anything like fits in humans most are self limiting time wise so not to cause damage however unsure what diagnosis you have. Hope he settles quick n the seizures get back under control tori

So sorry to hear this. Charlie our springer has recently been diagnosed with epilepsy and I know how awful it is.Charlie becomes very spaced out on epiphren and we are having a nightmare time trying to get the correct dosage out. Good luck.

Aww Robbie so sorry that Henry is having problems with his epilepsy    poor lamb must be wondering what on earth is going on  and you must be worried sick too ? what with Charlie and you just recovering from surgery sending you and the gang great big  's x x x
