which wormer/flea treatment?
« on: November 07, 2014, 02:23:13 PM »
I need to get some wormer and flea treatment for my two, and just trying to find out what's best :)

For flea treatment we were recommended to use stronghold or frontline, what is the best brand to use, from where and how often please? (they are not showing any signs of fleas)

They are also due for their next wormer 17/11/2014 and previously had panacur, does it matter if we use a different brand? and again what's the best option please? :) they are 3.5 years old if it makes any difference :)

Thank you :D

Ellie has Stronghold ...
don't know if it's "best" but the VEt said
Frontline didn't seem to be as effective.
Oh and Milbemax chewable wormers
which she thinks are a delicious treat :005:

Both of ours get treated every month with Advocate 2.5ml spot on with a Milbemax tablet every three months for tapeworm.

We had a recent scare when a Wormcount test between Advocate treatments showed that Chaz had picked up some Fox Lungworm but a re-test a week after his next monthly Advocate application showed that the Lungworm had been completely eradicated.

Bob.
