Will she be alright?

Elsie ate a pickled onion (not very big one).

She stole it from the bin we didn't give her it.

I would keep a very close eye on her. How big was the onion?

They can be dangerous to dogs - but don't panic yet. If it was only a small onion and she seems OK then she'll prob be OK. But if it was a big onion you might want to give your vet a call.

One of mine stole an entire fish supper complete with mushy peas and huge pickled onions >:D >:D I was starving but he was absolutely fine :005: :005: Obviously if you are at all concerned about her, you can ring a vet for advise.

Not the cocktail stick ones, 10p piece size one, she ate it at 12 oclock but I've only just been told about it and knew that onions can be a problem.

I think the same advice applies. If she's not given you any cause for worry now then she's likely to be OK ;)

I'd be inclined to give something extra to eat, to mop up any toxins and dilute it a bit. And just kep an eye on her.
