Jasper's sister has pancreatitis

......and is very very ill. Prognosis is not at all good. :'( :'(

She's been ill all week and in the vet hospital since Tuesday. Her owners are with her now at the vets and I have her housemate here with me and the boys. They're all a tad confused :'(

The vet is not optimistic for her as he has been treating her with no improvement at all and today she become more ill.

Please send healing thoughts :'(

Oh no, I'm so sorry for her and her owners, they must be devastated...  :'(

Lots and lots of healing thoughts and prayers are on their way to the poor wee girl, I hope she can pull through this  :luv: :luv:

Thanks for the good wishes

Her name is Minnie. She was the runt of the litter and is small - hence the name.

Yes they are devastated. She's only 5 and has had such a battle right from the off. Some of you will remember, she was born with a cleft palette but had several operations to correct it and she's done remarkably well. Especially as the norm would have been for to have been pts.

But this has come out of the blue with no prior warning. They're beside themselves trying to think what could have caused it but it seems it's just one of life's cruel tricks. :'(

Well - the heaing thoughts must have had some effect as she has improved this afternoon :D

She's still on the drips and will be kept in over the weekend but she seems a bit brighter and seems to have moved to the other side of that line for now anyway.

So we've just got to keep thinking positive and hope for the best.
