jarv's fave toy has always been plastic bottles - he loves the sound they make when he crunches them!

hope nancy sorts out that *green* issue soon ;)

i have yet to experience the teeth chattering...but i think it'll happen!

(maybe it's the fancy french knickers that nancy pants wears that is *cough* causing her irritation :005: :shades:)

Poor Nance, and poor Milo (in a different way!)

When Buddy discovered his "manhood" the other week (sorry, Coco) he was drooling all over the place. Does Milo do that too?

Noo no drool just chattering teeth, its very creepy!!!!!  :005:

Nance seems to have this effect on dogs, she got Baileys teeth a chattering too, much to Mich's distress! Freaked out is putting it mildly!!!!!!!!!! :005:  :005:

Thanks Jo I think its just an infection and I need some anitbiotics, she has had one before. She has had a few "womens" problems bless her. Although this is the first since shes been spayed. She is okay in her self.

Milo seems to have chilled out a little! He must have realised he was getting no where fast!

A vulva update!!!!!!!  :005:  :005:  ph34r  ph34r

Well after waiting in the vets for AGES we saw my fav vet Adam, so that numbed the bordem and the bill!!!

Nance has vaginitius and a temperature. He has put her on a course of synlox and rymidal and she is to go back and see him next week.

He baffled me with talk of cells and used some very very long words but basically he thinks she may be prone to these infections because of cells developing because she had pyometra in the past.

She seems fine   well as fine as you can be when you've had an internal and your temperature checked you know where ;)!!

He was very greatful she knew the command STAY STAND so well!!! :005:

Poor Nance - tisn't good that this is recurring though is it - I wonder if you ought to see a homeopathic vet with her, to cure it, rather than just suppress it again with antibiotics ?

I had wondered about that Penel. I was just searching on the net and I found a link about taking this: Acid Nit 30c homoeopathic remedy from Ainsworths may help.

There is a homeopathic vet at my vets so I will speak to her when I take Nance back after this course of antibiotics.

xxxxxxxxxx

I wouldn't recommend prescribing a remedy yourself for something like this - far better to consult with an expert like you said  :D  tis all ok using Arnica, Rhus Tox - that sort of thing - but not for anything remotely complicated !!!!

Thanks Penel. I just found the above mentioned remedy in a post on champdogs about vaginitus.

You wouldnt know Nance has a temperature and infection at all, she has Milo pinned down and is wrestling him as I type  :005:  :005: which ofcourse given her delightful smell he is loving!!! :005:
