Advice re Grinding noise from mouth
« on: October 05, 2006, 09:37:54 AM »
Morning COLers can anyone help or have had experience themselves with my concern over Oska for the last couple of days seems to be grinding his teeth.  He is 18 weeks old and todate has lost one tooth. My theory is he perhaps has more loose ones and they are catching when he puts his jaws together. :-\
I have just looked at previous threads and found one back in April from Tiggerbabe and Beau and the dog had a missaligned jaw not by much but enough to cause this grinding noise.
Do you think I should take him to vets as i have tried but can't get a proper look in his mouth.

Any advice, words of wisdom would be great. ;)

Thanks
sal/Oska

If in doubt see your vet as they are really the only ones to determine health matters like this.

I would guess it is a loose back tooth as saffie did the same. they detach from the side and flap about in the mouth and Oska will be trying to get rid of them. Breath will stink also when you get to that stage.
