jammed tail
« on: April 19, 2008, 12:05:21 AM »
my neice was upstairs and fuse decided that he would go and play too.
my neice is 5 and i don't like her playing with him unsupervised ,( last time she dressed him up in dolls clothes and put make up on him.  been the mad cocker that he is he just let her do it!!!!!!!!).
before i had time to get up the stairs there was a yelp. my neice said he got stuck in the bedroom door
i thought nothing more of it untill two hours later
fuse couldn't sit down and was in pain crying. couldn't wiggle his tail and bum
he let me touch his tail which was clearly bent near the base.
i took him to the vets injection and pain killers for 5 days it the bend doesn't straighten hes off for xray.
i wouldn't mind but he has a docked tail.  he may be the first manx cocker !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
hes on the sofa because my other half thinks he is ill and needs extra care and of course fuse is lapping up extra attention and extra chicken wings.  a clear case of tropical cocker man flu which will now go on for weeks .
when i took him out to day he was able to run jump walk race round a paddock with a lab.  when my oh had him out he carried fuse home because he thought he was tired  :lol2: :lol2: :lol2: :lol2: :lol2:
love from fuse and lisa and now adding little sox

I'm glad he's ok and it was nothing too serious, a broken tail wouldn't have been nice.
