"Lucy" im so shocked

I mentioned Lucy's weight in her thread when she was spayed on Friday, I thought the vet said she was 17kg, but to my horror she was 19kg,    she went for her check up today and she is fine, the vet weighed her again and she is now 18.4 kg so she has lost a bit, ive cut her kibbles down a little, but im still shocked she dosent look overweight to me.

 

And  that coffe has only got one sugar in (honest)

Dave is 10.4 kilos so she's nearly double him!! She doesn't look that big in the pics - is she very tall?

awww poor Lucy, it does indeed seem that she should be losing weight.  What's her height to the shoulder?

Aww now im worried, just had a quick measure and she is 15 inches to her shoulder, is that tall, small i dont know, vet said she should be about 13-15kg and going by that she is Obese 
But i can defo feel her ribs

Jarvis is 15 1/2 inches to the shoulder and is 12.7kgs, and he's not skinny

Thanks Livercake, thats a definite diet for the little madam then, weve managed to loose 1kg only another 5kg to go

Maybe she's just dense boned  Dave is about 15.5 inches high too and 10.4 kilos but he's only just a year old so will fill out a bit more..

Jerry was around 18 kilos for a while (now between 16-17), but he's around 18'' tall

Molly and Jagger are both around 17" to the shoulder and Jagger is 14.4kg (ish) while Molly is 15.1kg (ish)
Given that we weighed them on the bathroom scales while holding them so I am not entirely sure how accurate that is!

My Step-Dad said that he thought Molly was looking fat recently so I got a bit paranoid about her, but I can feel her ribs and she def has a waist.  I think sometimes the charts dont apply, they very so much in height and build.

I am sure the vets will be giving me their opinion tomorrow!

I was in the vets this evening and it seemed to be cocker spaniel night (which was great for me  ).  There was one boy and he was HUGE and his owner told me he weighed 21kg.  He definitely was not over weight though he was just a big boy.

Buffy is only 10" to the shoulder and weighs in at 9.6K.  She seems tiny next to other cockers.

Jerry was around 18 kilos for a while (now between 16-17), but he's around 18'' tall 

I wonder if i actually keep Jarvis a bit too skinny then he's 18.5" tall, and i don't like him above 15.5kg. Infact i've just cut down his food again, 'cos he'd gained a wee bit and looked too barrell shaped for my liking.
